Yes, what is Gandhi? I am asking the question what is Gandhi. If you want to enlighten me saying Gandhi is not a what but it is Who, then let me tell you, "Boss you are a genius." But let me tell you one thing, err not just one thing, but a lot of those silly things which definitely are silly and a bit sarcastic to hear but it takes the strength of everest to stand tall to just hear about what I am gonna say.
Gandhi isn't the name of a person who is dubbed as the "Father of the Nation" for a whole country called India but it is synonym for a lot of things like Truth, Non-Violence, Tolerance, and a lot others. Gandhi isn't the name of a person who preached the above mentioned things but the name of a person who kept them in practice and was instrumental in attaining independence to a country which now is enjoying the fruits of freedom. But how many of its population are still following his foot steps or at least remembering him in the right spirit.
People say we never forget Gandhiji but are they really speaking from their hearts or is it coming from their dirty tongues. I don't know much about Gandhiji but with the knowledge I have I only that he was a great man who was and is inspiration to millions of people around the world. I know few of his sayings and try to follow his principles one at a time. May be I am not the right person to tell what is right and what is wrong, may be I am not even the right person to preach but when it comes to listening, as Gandhiji once said if it about good, you can even listen to the bad.
Gandhi isn't a person but Gandhi means Truth, Non-Violence, Tolerance, helping, brotherhood, self-belief, loving, caring and whatever you think is doing good to your fellow being. Gandhi hasn't asked people to become something out of this world but he preached us one thing, "Humans please behave like Humans". May be I am not good at preaching but I may be good at practicing. May be Gandhiji's slogans don't sound good in the modern sophisticated world but the inner meaning will stay put for ages to come.
HEY RAM...
